American History

My mom and sister are coming to visit us next week. (Hurray! I can't wait!) It's been a year since they've been here and we're all so excited, so they've been on my mind a lot lately. I have incredible parents, they are amazing and I really appreciate them. Recently I've been thinking about some of the things my parents have given me. My mom is a history buff, especially American History, so growing up in Maryland was a real treat because we went to all the sites on weekends and in the summer. Here is a list of the places I've been to because my mother and father took us there. I wish I could give this to my kids as well. My parents both taught me how to love my country. My father retired from the Air Force and my mother can't get enough of American History. . .

Incredible! What an awesome educational background. There is so much rich historical sites in the East. I guess I should plan a few trips that direction. We keep heading West for some reason. (Family)
